What is a Four Poster Bed? A four poster bed is a name for a bed that has only come about in the last few years. Traditionally these beds were called Full Tester Beds. A tester is the roof or canopy section of the bed, hence why you have Full Testers with a complete roof section from head to foot and Half Testers which just have half a roof over the head of the bed.

Please note that beds are also suitable to fit around Water beds!

The Crown Guild of Master Woodcarvers four posters are made to fit into your size room and to any style. The standard height of four poster beds from the Guild are 7'1" high so they will fit into a modern house.

We use traditional hardwoods in our items and our two standard timbers are Mahogany & Oak however we can use other timbers on request.
