Bedroom Furniture Terms Explained

by Peter G

The bedroom is the part of a home used mainly for sleeping. If a bedroom has a bookshelf or a computer desk, can serve as a study. Because the bedroom is the only private place in a home, it is often designed in a romantic way, and has only a night table and a bed. Other bedrooms have entertainment centers inside. Depending on your taste, furniture items in your bedroom may include a full, king or queen-sized bed with proper bedding, a nightstand, dressers and closets.

Now, let's take a look at a short list, not claiming to be exhaustive, of bedroom furniture terms you may not understand, although you see them often on furniture related websites.
